Although it's not finalized, Square-Enix CEO Yoichi Wada stated that FFXIV may have more pay-as-you-go items in-game. For those who may not know, pay-as-you-go items would mean in-game items that would have to be purchased with real life currency. Many people are already saying that they will not play FFXIV if this new plan goes through, despite their high anticipation for the title. What are your thoughts?
