More Spin offs?

Do you think any other final fantasy game needs a spin off? So far there has only been tons of VII spin offs and a X-2, the sequel to X. What are your opinions? Did you think that spin offs ruin the original game? Do you want any spin offs for any other final fantasy?

To me, the spin offs to VII were fun, but it's absolutely heart wrenching talking to kids claiming VII is the best game ever when they haven't played it and most likely because of the graphics that they didn't play it or mainly because of availability to get the game. They take the spin offs as what the story's about. They create a bad name for VII fans when they start talking about about it. I even got cussed out one time by a Rufus Shinra cosplayer for telling him that Shinra once dropped a plate on a sector in the original game. Tsk, tsk...

Regardless, I think spin offs are okay whenever the original game is VERY easily available, which in FFVII's case now is with the PSN store, so that EVERYONE can play the original as well as the spin offs.

I thought that maybe FFVI should have gotten a spin-off. It was a good game with a solid story and I liked it a lot. A spin-off could have brought out so much more in the game. The game was already great, nearly as great as VII, so I thought that it deserved a spin-off, or at least a Remake on a next-gen console.
